As Renaissance Manuscript Service is a new service, this is an excellent time to submit your work. I aim to have your manuscript and assessment back to you within four to six weeks if at all possible. If you would like a more accurate idea of a turnaround time, please contact me when submitting your manuscript.

Manuscripts can be sent either unbound or kept together with a rubber band, or loosely bound (ring). They should be typed or printed on one side of the page only, and preferably with line spacing set at one and a half. Please leave a large enough margin on the right hand side for comments. We respect your copyright and confidentiality.

Each manuscript submitted should include: a title page, a synopsis of the work of up to 400 words, and an author bio of up to 200 words. It would also be helpful if you could write a short account of where you believe it fits in the current market.

Don’t send originals! Always keep a copy of your work before you send it by post. Include a stamped postpak or jiffy bag large enough for me to return your manuscript with your assessment. Recently I have worked with a text that was emailed to me, but please contact me before following this delivery route!

Also you must include a cheque or money order made out to Renaissance Manuscript Service. I cannot afford to undertake the long hours required to assess a manuscript without this upfront payment.
